Totebag - Sakura
Details
Here is a Small Outing Bag, made with a fabric called "Tatami heri", usually used to cover and finish the raw edges of tatami mats! It's a pretty sturdy fabric that is woven in Japan, usually displaying traditional Japanese patterns (but some present more modern patterns nowadays!). It's very soft yet strong. It's made of polyester (unfortunately, as I would have preferred a more natural material!), so it has the merit of being very sturdy and resistant, despite its lightweight!
The lining is 100% cotton, made in Japan as well.
It opens and closes with a snap button and has a pocket on the inside.
It's the perfect size to grap when you go on a small errand, or when you participate in a fancier event and still want to be able to grab a few things with you!
The body of the bag measures 23 x 32,5 cm, and the handles roughly 12 cm.
I also attached a small leather tag with a golden ring on the front handle to be able to add a strap (to hang your keys or a pass case for example!) or even a small decorative item if you'd like!
You will also find my handmade tag (embroidered by hand by me) on its left side!
