Wrapped Ring - Golden / Black & Purple

Here is a Wrapped Ring, made with natural gemstones and Golden color Silver filled wire.
Silver filled is a cheaper alternative to Sterling Silver (925) but is equally strong and shiny; it also doesn't tarnish like Sterling Silver, which makes it easier to use every day!

I made this ring by wrapping wire around a ring mandrel and wrapping the ends together to create the band; after hammering it down to its right size (and to ensure the metal becomes harder), I wrapped gemstones around using a finer wire.

For this model, I used Black Spinel and Tanzanite (light purple stones).
There are 5 stones in total. They all have a 3 mm diameter.

I made a variety of sizes for you to choose from. You will find a chart in the carousel of pictures that will give you the equivalent of each size in millimeters: to find your size, you can use a ring sizer if you have one at home or a measuring tape to wrap around your finger. If you're hesitating between 2 sizes, I would recommend to get the bigger one!

As the rings are made with Silver filled wire, they are safe to wear even if you have allergies or if you have sensitive skin.


You can wear them in the water, but to make sure you can keep them as long as possible, it is preferable to take them off before your shower (or before swimming) and at the end of your day (and not sleep with them). Detergents, soaps etc. can deteriorate their state sooner than we would want to!

Keep also in mind that they are strong thanks to the Silver filled wire, but they're still delicate so it would be preferable not to pull on them or try to bend them to an unusual shape!
